How can I record my voice using a basic headset microphone and my computer?

I want to record lyrics for a rap song but I have no idea how. I already produced a beat and i have the lyrics down, now i need 2 record! does anyone know any how/ give me tutorials? much appreiciated!

There is a good free program called Audacity that you can download. You can import the beat into it into one channel and then record your own voice into another and mix it there. It's nothing fancy, but it isn't hard to use either.
