my father always said that the mcintosh is best for him when I was child.
so i wanna try it. I've searched for a few times.. but i'm not sure what's better for me.

budget is about 700~900$.

You will be hard pressed to find a McIntosh for that cheap, they want $2000 and up, used what I would do is bid 700 to 900 on e-bay and hope you get lucky....You might also try craigslist do a nationwide search for macintosh and see what comes up...even if someone wants more offer them $800 and they might take it cause they need the cash....also you could place an ad on audiogon stating what you want and the price your willing to pay....
