If you don't mind a weekend of good cleaning, and very minor updates (i.e. stove, scrub bathroom, paint or wash walls), then you must see this one. It's not really a rehab situation, but just a good cleanup would make this home sparkle. It's brick front with 1 car garage, makes this curb appeal very nice. Inside there is a living room, which needs the hardwoods to be buffed. The den is sunken with lots of windows, one that has a small crack. The kitchen is nice, and could use a good cleaning with possibly a new vinyl floor. The seller is not willing to make these minor cosmetic repairs; consequently, the house is priced well below some of the updated homes in the area. There's a full basement and a great fenced backyard that would be nice for the family BBQ's. If you have a weekend to scrub, you could save yourself thousands and end up with a great home. |
